Restaurant Aittaranta is a cozy restaurant located by river Pielisjoki in Joensuu, Eastern Finland. Aittaranta is known for its classics and its cozy atmosphere as it is located in a historic building in Penttilä area. Aittaranta has a big terrace during summer and a few meeting spaces as well as a sauna so you can arrange meetings or sauna evenings with us!

Penttilä area by river Pielisjoki has always been an important part of Joensuu. This craftsman area has brought food to the table for many people in the city. We want to bring our own stamp to Penttilä area. 2019 we opened restaurant Aittaranta, a restaurant which values good and pure tastes. Our big terrace is the perfect location to enjoy a sunny day throughout the summer or our sauna department is perfect for a sauna evening among friends.
