Ylläs Experiences is run by our local guides who just simply love the Ylläs area and the activity opportunities it provides. Our goal is to show you the very best of the region regardless of the season. If you are uncertain of which activities would be the best for your schedule and wishes, do not hesitate to be in touch.

If you are already in Ylläs, come say hello to us in the very centre of Äkäslompolo, inside the supermarket Jounin Kauppa.

Our wilderness hut is located by a remote lake, surrounded by snowy forest. Tour starts with a around 15km snowmobile ride to the hut. At the hut we’ll enjoy dinner lit by candles, followed by a relaxing sauna and ice swimming. The hut is warmed by a fireplace and cooking is operated with a gas stove. There’s no electricity or running water. After a cozy evening we’ll head back to civilization by snowmobiles.
