VocalEspoo Festival

The VocalEspoo festival brings a diverse range of vocal music to concert halls and churches in Espoo and Helsinki. The festival will take place from 6.11.-1.12.2024, and the programme includes both vocal classics and newer productions.

VocalEspoo's roots go back to 1992, when the first international choir festival was organized in Espoo. Since then, the festival known as KuoroEspoo has hosted numerous renowned singers, vocal groups and choirs every two years. In 2014, the name of the festival was changed to VocalEspoo, which better describes its nature as a versatile vocal music event. Artistic director Taavi Oramo is responsible for planning the 2024 festival program. VocalEspoo is produced by Espoo music festivals association, which is also produced by the sister festival PianoEspoo.
