The Noormarkku Works area is one of the largest and most impressive ironwork areas in Finland.

Ahlström Works in Noormarkku offers hotel accommodation services in a beautiful setting, only 15 minutes drive from Pori center. You can choose your own unique room from four guest houses. We have a total of 29 well-equipped hotel rooms.

Noormarkku Works has been awarded with the GreenKey certificate, which demonstrates our commitment in promoting eco-friendly service.

The kitchen of Noormarkku Club cherishes traditional recipes dating back centuries and offers new culinary experiences. Noormarkku Club has been awarded the Rôtisseurs plaque. The highly valued Chaîne des Rôtisseurs is an international association of gastronomy that promotes culinary culture.

According to the definition of the National Board of Antiquities, Noormarkku Works is a nationally valuable built-up cultural environment. The International Committee for the Conservation of the Industrial Heritage granted Ahlström an industrial heritage award in 2015 for the establishment of the Makkarakoski sawmill museum and the Ahlström Voyage exhibition.

Noormarkku Works also offers saunas for different occasions.

Villa Mairea, one of the greatest masterpieces of 20th-century architecture, is a must-see. Villa Mairea was built in 1939 as the home of Maire and Harry Gullichsen, two lovers and supporters of art. Progressive and unprejudiced, they were interested in straightforward modernist expression. Their dear friends, architects Aino and Alvar Aalto, were given the freedom and opportunity for experimental design.
