Unique Accommodation in an Igluhut in Nuuksio Reindeer Park

Handcrafted Igluhuts are made from natural materials. The design is unique combining the centuries-old shingle technology with modern knowledge and craftwork. Exterior is covered with spruce shingles, aspen has been used in the interior, total over 2500 units.

Igluhuts are located in Nuuksio Reindeer Park so you have possibility to feed the reindeer directly from your hut’s window. Our guide takes you also inside the fenced reindeer area.

Accommodation for two persons in a tiny Igluhut all year round. There is a double bed, eco toilet, limited washing facilities, a separate summer shower, mini fridge, electic kettle, coffee/tea/water and a bucketful of lichen for feeding the reindeer. An outdoor grill available during summer season. Parking space free of charge.

The marked national park's nature trails goes just around the corner. The Finnish Nature Centre Haltia / Haltia restaurant is located 1,1 km away from the Igluhuts. About 30 km / 30 min from Helsinki city centre and from the airport.
