History tour along The Kyrö River

Beautiful landscapes, old villages and the big, red Ostrobothnian peasant houses! Fascinating stories about the long and exciting history of this especial area in the heart of South Ostrobothnia!

Experience the spirit of Leväluhta, which is internationally very unique water burial site from 300-800 CE. Orientate yourself to the history of Cudgel War (1597-98), one of the biggest peasant uprisings in Europe. Empathize the people, who lived through The Great Wrath, seven years era of Russian military occupation, after the last big battle of The Great Northern War (1700-21) in Napue village 1714.
