Tastes of the Arctic
Our focus is on ingredients from the Arctic region. We serve fish from northern lakes and Arctic seas. One of our rarities, willow grouse, comes to us from Enontekiö, where it is traditionally trapped. Reindeer is naturally a core part of our menu, and we strive to offer it in many forms. We also feature rare delicacies from further afield, such as caviar and truffles. In the summer, we forage or purchase local forest treasures like mushrooms, berries, spruce shoots, and honey, which we preserve for the winter season.
Our restaurant is located at the Arctic Circle in Rovaniemi, in peaceful setting within the beautiful Glass Resort. The restaurant’s glass ceiling opens directly to the sky, and on the best nights, you can admire the northern lights while dining. You are also welcome to drop in just for a drink or a small bite in our cozy lounge.
Restaurant Gallis re-opens on 10th of October, 2024 and is open daily from 5pm, last reservations at 9.30pm.
