AHOLA - Juhani Aho and Venny Soldan-Brofeldt’s artist home on the shore of Lake Tuusula

Ahola offers visitors many interesting things to do! For those thirsty for knowledge, there are guided tours that explain what life was like in the artist community. With Ahola’s drama tours, you can travel a hundred years back in time into the middle of the colourful life of the artists. In addition to these, the diverse side programme includes expert lectures and workshops, among other things.

The museum shop sells souvenirs, books and postcards related to the artist community, and you can have a cup of coffee or a glass of juice on the porch of the house. The young ones can fish, garden, read children’s books and play with toys while visiting the exhibition.

Ahola is open during summer season from May to September.
