Snowmobile safari to Savukoski

This snowmobile safari takes you to Savukoski, landscapes of Samperin Savotta, a historical logging site. During the safari, you experience sledding, nature and one of the largest swamp areas, Jouttenaapa.

PROGRAM:

In the morning at the base of Kola Extreme Safaris, delivery of driving equipments (driving suit, shoes, hood, helmet, driving gloves), followed by familiarization to snowmobiles, driving and safety instructions. First driving small laps before going on the route.

Our route goes north from Salla village through the villages of Kotala and Saija.

During the safari stop by the campfire and enjoy tasty safari lunch

with black pot coffee.

At Savukoski, we visit Hotelli Samperin Savotta and Savukoski Visitor Centre Korvatunturi.

The return trip is driven along the same route with a more experienced touch.

Delivery of equipments at the Salla base in the afternoon.

The length of the safari is approx. 200 km.
