Guided Tours - Former Kakola Prison

You can order a group tour of Kakola Hill that includes an outdoor walking tour to see the former prison buildings and exciting escape routes used throughout the years. The tour then continues indoors with a photo exhibit from the prison era and tales from the colourful daily lives of Kakola’s inmates. The whole tour takes about 2 hours, but you can request a shorter tour, if necessary.
