Bear and wildlife watching evening (4h) or overnight (14h)

Taiga Bear Kuusamo Oy offers the bear, bird and other wild animal watching and photography. From our hideout buildings you can watch and photograph animals from close distant in their natural habitat without disturbing them.

Our viewing area is a completely natural vein meadow with stud villas, there is forest on the sides and high fells on the Russian side in the background. You can get truly stunning and varied backgrounds for your photos! Our guides are professional nature photographers and will guide you in photography if you wish. We are also happy to tell you about animals and the nature of the arctic taiga forests.

We have 2 separate hideout buildings, for 6 and 8 persons. There are 2 toilets (outhouses). The buildings also have beds and sleeping bags for a total of four persons (2+2) if you want to stay the whole night! Remember that we have almost 24 hours of light from mid May to mid June!

The parking place is about 400 meters from hideouts.

The trail through forest is easy to walk with no major elevation differences. You can take your own snacks and drinks or buy water, soft drinks and snacks from the site.

The 4-hour evening tour starts at 6 p.m. and  ends at around 22:00. Overnight excursion starts also at 6 p.m. and ends at ~ 08:00 in the morning.
