Enjoy the atmosphere of the old days, the delicacies of our café, changing experiences and events in a log building that was built in 1906 and used to be Vihasjärvi School.

In traditional landscapes, you wake up feeling relaxed. A cosy wood-burning stove. A lovely, traditional garden sauna. Room for 2-3 people.

Apartment and shed accommodation with good transport links is located in the over 120-year-old Vihasjärvi school in Orivesi. Apartment Pietilä, once serving as a residence for former teachers, has preserved the atmosphere of the past. Designed for three guests, the well-equipped space has been fully renovated with modern amenities. The apartment has a private entrance from the beautiful garden. Guests also have access to a traditional Finnish sauna, which is located in the courtyard.

More adventurous nights can be spent in the well-maintained log sheds near the school building. In the past, they provided teachers a place for sleep on warm summer nights. Today the sheds have electric heating in case of cooler weather. There are two well-equipped sheds, Kulta-Nisula, Wirtanen and Lemmikki, each accommodating two guests.
