Magic of the Woods

Go on a trip to the deepest landscape of the Finnish soul - the forest that whispers stories. Get to know Finland's rich folklore and ancient beliefs related to the forest.

PROGRAM

Finnish folklore is full of forest-related beliefs that you will hear about along the way; e.g. why the children's hands were dyed with blueberry, what kind of problem is there in the forest and how can it be cured. You will also get to know the beliefs related to forest animals, e.g. to the royal bear of the sire. The trip goes through the wilderness lake on a sandy path, so it can be traveled with normal shoes even in bad weather. The tour is not barrier-free, but we can organize a barrier-free private tour with a length of 1 km.

TOUR STARTING PLACE: Pohjois-Nuuksio, Paratiisintie 115, Otalampi (Vihti).

DURATION: 2 hours, during which we cover a distance of 2 km.

SERVES: Herbal drink and seed snack (L, GL).

PRICE INCLUDES: Guided 2-hour excursion and refreshments at the campfire site.
