Joroinen Music Festival

Lied and chamber music concerts held in atmospheric manor houses and grand churches have been at the heart of the Joroinen Music Festival since 1977. In Central Savo, the festival spreads over four locations, including gems of art music, concerts for children and diverse events.

Joroinen Music Festival 2025 will highlight the unifying power of music with the theme “Two together – Harmony of opposing forces”. This timely and touching approach celebrates the harmony of difference and similarity, highlighting music’s ability to cross boundaries and build connections between people.

We want to challenge divisions – whether between musical styles, generational differences or cultural perspectives – and show that these divisions are often a product of our imaginations. Music can act as a bridge that connects people to discover universal emotions and experiences.

With our theme, Joroinen Music Festival offers a diverse program of contrasts and harmonies. The dialogue between classical and popular music, encounters between different generations, and clashes and mergers of cultures create rich and thought-provoking content.
