Finnish sauna and ice hole in the lake in the idyllic Oravi village | Lake Saimaa Region

Finnish sauna reduces stress, enhances quality of sleep and increases the overall wellbeing. There are plenty of saunas in the world, but ”sauna” is actually originally a Finnish word, the only one that hasn’t been translated to other languages.

The sauna is situated by Oravi canal. The sauna building has a large dressing room with wc, a shower room and a hot room. The sauna is heated with an electrical stove. The facilities are in your private use for one hour. If you want to enjoy the sauna for a longer time you can book two one hour slots.

From the sauna it is a short walk to the swimming pier and to the hole on the ice if you want to take a dip in the lake.
