The accommodation price includes a welcome drink and use of sauna raft (self-heating).

Briefly about the accommodation:

- Pets are welcome

- 120 cm wide double bed (extra bed only available in summer)

- The necessary cooking equipment is available

- Compost toilet both on the accommodation raft and on the sauna raft

- No electricity or running water (we supply drinking water)

During the winter, the rafts are connected to each other near lake shore. You can heat the sauna when it suits you the best. The ‘löyly’ in the raft sauna is gentle and water in Lake Saimaa refreshing. Take a dip if you dare. We will guide you if you haven’t done it before. After the sauna, you can enjoy a sauna drink and maybe some local delicacies. You can order a breakfast basket for 50 € (2 persons) or dinner basket for 70 € (2 persons) for extra fee. The baskets consist of best flavors of forests and lake. In addition, we use fresh ingredients from nearby farms and small producers.

We are happy to give you tips on good hiking/snowshoeing routes and nature spots in the surrounding area, of which there are several nearby. The Astuvansalmi rock paintings are located only about ten kilometers from Uhkua and are a great day trip destination! You can find the nearest services in Ristiina (30 km), Mikkeli (55 km) and Puumala (45 km).
