Outdoor Express, Southern Konnevesi National Park – Water gateway, Häyrylänranta

Outdoor Express, operating on weekends during the summer season, offers a quick bus connection from Jyväskylä city center to Southern Konnevesi National Park. Upon arrival, there is plenty of time for enjoying nature.

The water gateway to Southern Konnevesi National Park opens from Häyrylänranta harbor. You can book a guided kayaking trip or explore the park's waters independently by kayak or SUP board, for example, on the 8 km Haukisaari Loop or from the deck of an inland waterway cruiser. The 2.2 km Partiomaja Trail, located a short walk from the harbor, offers an excellent hiking destination within the park. These services are not included in the transportation price and must be booked separately from local service providers.

Outdoor Express operates on consecutive days, allowing for overnight stays at the destination. You can do a day trip, or pack a tent or book accommodation near your destination and return on the next day’s ride.

Departures: Sat 16.8., Sun 17.8., Sat 30.8., and Sun 31.8. Tickets are sold one-way. Remember to also book your return transportation. Ticket sales end 20 minutes before departure.

The bus departs from Jyväskylä Travel Center at 11:00 and stops at Laukaa's Spa Hotel Peurunka at 11:35. The bus arrives at Häyrylänranta at 12:15. The return bus departs from Häyrylänranta at 17:00, returning via Spa Hotel Peurunka to Jyväskylä, arriving at 18:15.

Pets are welcome on Sunday trips.
