Spanning from Rovaniemi to Ylläs and Pyhä-Luosto, the journey offers captivating destinations, including two national parks, a crossing of the Arctic Circle, and countless opportunities for outdoor adventures. Along the way, visitors can experience breathtaking natural wonders and immerse themselves in the beauty of the region.

Travel tip

In the northern parts of Finland, you can enjoy a peaceful drive with nearly continuous daylight in the summer. Please be mindful of other road users, including wildlife like reindeer. If you wish to photograph animals or landscapes, stop only in safe spots and avoid disturbing the wildlife. Remember to keep your fuel or battery charged, as service stations can be sparse. For this route, we suggest travelling by train or flying to Rovaniemi or Kittilä. Alternatively, you can take the night train, which allows you to bring your car along for added convenience.
