Water activities at Lake Tuusula

Take a boat out to Lake Tuusula and see the scenery from completely different point of view! Take a picnic with you and visit parks such as Sarvikallio, Fjällbo and Vanhankylänniemi by rowing, paddling or sub boarding.

You may even visit wilderness studio Halosenniemi by mooring to the jetty. Wilderness studio of painter Pekka Halonen is situated on the shores of Lake Tuusula. Halosenniemi was built in the Finnish national romantic style and was completed in 1902. Log-built Halosenniemi today functions as an art museum and has been renovated to its original style.

Rowing boats can be hired from Hotel Gustavelund and Halosenniemi from 5 euros per hour. Sub boards and kayaks are available from Hotel Gustavelund.
