Watercraft safari to Savukoski, day trip

Independent arrival at Saija village boat launch of Tenniöjoki.

Delivery of equipment (life jackets, rain suit, wet suit) taking into account the weather conditions. Familiarization with SeaDoo watercraft, safety instructions, driving event, to hand signals. Personal equipment can be packed in the jet's equipment drawer.

The guide teaches everyone individually how to operate the jet and we drive a small tour. When everyone has been introduced to controlling the jet, we point the bows of the jets downstream, towards Savukoski.

During the drive get used to driving at different speeds, make turns, stops, reverses, group gatherings, practice water rescue and towing the jet. At the boarding place, we land at the fire place and enjoy a safari lunch with black pot coffee. After eating, we continue our journey towards Kuosku, after which we arrive at Kemijoki. We turn downstream and after a few kilometers we are at Savukoski. Boarding to the shore of the hotel Samperin Savotta.

On the return trip driving upstream is slightly different from driving downstream. Arrival at the boat launch in Saija, where landing and handing over the equipments. Self-help home trip.

The length of the safari is approx. 90 km. Possibility to extend the trip for an additional fee.

Group size: min. 4 people, max 8 people. Possibility to use a rubber boat

at a different price, in which case the group size can be increased to 13-15 people.

The price includes:

SeaDoo water jet usage with fuel, life jackets, rain suit/wet suit, safari lunch, insurance (deductible €1000 in case of jet accident), guide services.

Fishing possibility for a different price.
