Restaurant
Pohjolan Pirtti is located in the village of Vuotunki, which is a culturally and historically significant village in Kuusamo. The local culinary traditions have always been strongly associated with fish and game, berries and mushrooms, from the lakes and forests of the surrounding wilderness. During winter season our wild food dinner is set up in Pohjolan Pirtti on Tuesday and Friday evenings. During summer season our wild food dinner is available on Tuesdays. The menu might change a bit day by day, but we normally start with a fishy starter, moose for main course and dessert from wild berries or produce of our own garden. Vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options are available on advance notice. We only use lactose free dairy products. Dinner is available by advance bookings only.
