Join us at the Safarimarket office in Levi for a Ice Fishing Excursion suitable for the whole family. Our ice-fishing spot is located within 10-15 min drive from Levi center.

On arrival, you'll be equipped with boots, mittens, and a hat to ensure you stay warm and dry throughout the trip.

A short walk will take us to a small lake where our guide will provide brief fishing instructions. You'll receive your fishing gear and start fishing!

The lake is stocked with rainbow trout, typically easy to catch. However, fish activity can vary with the weather, and in December, the short daylight and polar night may affect their activity. We will fish for about two hours before taking a break to warm up by the fire with a snack.

If you catch a fish, our guide will cook it for you over an open fire using the traditional Finnish method. It's the best fish meal you'll find in Lapland.

If you don't catch any fish, we'll provide a delicious local snack and a warm drink.

During the fishing session, you can warm up in a lean-to by the open fire next to the lake. Our guide will share stories about Finnish fishing traditions. You can also choose to take your catch home in a bag if you wish.
