The old church of Harjavalta Parish

Free

The old church of Harjavalta Parish was renovated into its current carpenter-style wooden church in 1870. The renovation plan was prepared by G.T. Chiewitz, the provincial architect of the Turku and Pori Province. Due to fire safety reasons, the old church is only open upon request.

During the summer, some wedding ceremonies are conducted there. The summer evening concerts, previously held there, have been permanently relocated to the Church of All Blessings. The stairs of the old church are steep, and there is no gentle ramp built alongside the church.

The church structures have been restored to ensure its preservation for future generations.
