Rautjärvi is a small municipality with about 3 000 inhabitants in the northern parts of South Karelia, right on the Russian border. There are spectacular sceneries, rugged forests and high cliffs to admire, as there are also lakes and rivers. A specialty is the Ladoga salmon, which will be able to ascend to Simpele in the next few years when the dams will break. Rautjärvi is a good place to live, love and play.

Outside of the Rautjärvi health station, there are outdoor fitness equipment with low resistance and balance tracks. The main focus of the park is on balance exercises. The park is suitable for people in all ages and conditions. The park also has an accessible sensory garden, which is wheelchair accessible. Free use.
