Hotel Svala

Hotel Svala is located in the quiet beauty of the Åland Archipelago and offers a distinct curated island experience.

Originally built in 1935 as a country hospital, the building was then renovated to a stylish hotel in 1971 by the Åland Board of Tourism. This special and unique heritage building has now been newly updated with a focus on design and sustainability. Accommodations include 6 guest rooms, a large suite with private bath, gardens, dining room, patio, sauna and library.
