Fishing and foraging at Wilderness lake

Spend the perfect day out with your family or friends at our private wilderness lake Kivijärvi right by the Ylläs-Pallastunturi National Park!

We start out from Levi, and head north towards Kivijärvi.

Kivijärvi is home to a wide variety of fresh water lake fish such as trout, whitefish, perch, burbot and vendace.You can easily reach the best fishing spots with our rowing boat. We will bring all fishing gear and licences that are needed.

During the trip our guide will make a fire on the shores of the lake, and in case you get peckish you can roast sausages and enjoy some coffee made over an open fire. We will also offer sandwiches, so no need to worry even if the fish don't bite! Any fish that is caught we will cook over the fire and you can enjoy it for lunch. You can also bring your own snacks if you like.

Lake Kivijärvi is a private area, so the whole place will be just for us. During the trip you can explore the nearby forests and marshland, pick berries and mushrooms, fish, swim, check our fish traps, or just sit down and enjoy the peace and quiet of Lapland in the summer.
