Tour to Meyer Turku shipyard

Now you have the opportunity to learn about the shipbuilding industry in Turku and see where the world´s largest, most innovative and eco-friendly cruise ships have been and are being built!

The tour begins at Forum Marinum Maritime Center, where during a guided tour you will explore the exhibitions and scale models showing the past and present of Turku’s shipbuilding. From the museum the tour continues to the shipyard and our guide will  introduce the history and operations of Meyer Turku shipyard. It is not possible to go inside the ships or construction halls, due to safety reasons. A photo opportunity by the ship being constructed.Tour ends back at the Forum Marinum Maritime Center.

Duration: 2 hours.

Age limit: 15 years and over

NOTE: The tour requires a minimum purchase of 5 tickets. It will be conducted by coach / bus or minivan.  The vehicle must be a commercial transport and driven by a professional driver. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE YOUR OWN TRANSPORT, PLEASE SELECT IT AS AN EXTRA.

As this tour includes the visit at Forum Marinum, it is only possible during the museum opening hours. It is also possible to visit the shipyard without the museum. Please ask for other alternatives.

This tour must be booked 14 days in advance. Names of the group members must be submitted in advance! We can give you a tour in English and Finnish by default. Swedish and German also available on request.
