Ice climbing course Korouoma

The aim of the Korouoma ice climbing course is that after the course days, participants will be able to safely practice top rope climbing on their own on a high icefall and climb routes of several rope lengths as a second climber.

The course covers ice climbing techniques and introduces the use of ice screws and other special equipment. Above all, the course involves a lot of climbing.

No previous ice climbing experience is required.

The course takes place in the Korouoma gorge valley, home to Finland's finest icefalls. The highest waterfall is over 50 metres high.

The course is conducted with two participants. The maximum number of participants is four. You can register for the course without a climbing partner.
