Guided tours at Suviranta artist home

Suviranta, Eero and Saimi Järnefelt’s artist home.

The building is surrounded by an impressive English-style garden, and you can still feel the atmosphere of the early 20th century inside.

Suviranta can only be visited on guided tours. Tours are held during the summer season from May to September.

The tours introduce you to the history of the house, its residents and the art collections. The guided tours are organised by the City of Järvenpää’s museum staff.

The duration of the tour in the house is 45 minutes. After the tour, you can buy Suviranta-themed souvenirs and explore the house’s garden.

Please note that the site is not well-suited for people with reduced mobility, as it is difficult to move around indoors with a wheelchair or walker due to the thresholds, porch stairs and the size of the doorways. Seats can be used during the tour.

Book your visit beforehand!

Price €15/ 10/person. No separate guidance fee. The Museum Card is accepted at Suviranta.

The visit can be paid on site or by invoice. When booking a tour, the billing information and either a business ID or the contact person’s personal identity code must be provided in advance.

The agreed time must be adhered to, as the guide is only available during the booked visiting hours. We cannot guarantee the possibility of postponing the visit if you are late.
