A caravan area in the middle of nature - explore Teijo National Park!

Teijo National Park is great nature destination for caravanners. The 19-site caravan site is located in a scenic setting in the middle of the national park by Lake Matilda. Numerous hiking trails start directly from the corner of the campsite. It is also possible to hire a kayak, sup-board, fatbike or boat to explore Lake Matildanjärvi and the water and land routes of the National Park. Lake Matildanjärvi is known as a very fishy lake, where catch-sized rainbow trout are also regularly stocked.

Area

The caravan site is part of the National Park and is located in a forested area near the road leading to the parking area of Lake Matilda. Each caravan or caravan has its own flat, graveled site with an electric pole. The Teijo Nature Centre and its services, run by Natura Viva, is located about 200 metres away.

The caravan site includes: Electric caravan pitch, use of the nature centre's water toilet and shower (one toilet is suitable for disabled persons), possibility of emptying the chemical toilet, outdoor parking, use of fireplace (including firewood)

Teijo Nature Centre opening hours

Teijo Nature Centre and café is open every day from 1.6.2024 to 25.8.2024. In May and September we are only open on weekends. Renting water sports equipment, café services and buying fishing permits are only possible during opening hours.
